Licia Freeman, M.A., M.Ed., LMFT

Holding one graduate degree in Clinical Psychology and another in Counseling and Educational Psychology, Ms.
Freeman has worked with couples and families in the educational and clinical settings for over 15 years.
She was trained as a child and family therapist, and parent educator and consultant at the Stanford University
Affiliated - The Children's Health Council, in Palo Alto, CA, where she worked as a clinician, and parent educator and
consultant for several years. While at The Children's Health Council, Ms. Freeman co-edited The CHC Behavioral Health Guide:
A Family Reading Collection, a compilation of bibliotherapy resources for families.
Ms. Freeman enhanced her training as a couples therapist and workshop co-facilitator at the reputable The
Couples Institute in Menlo Park, CA, where she assisted with couples communication training workshops.
She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is a member of the following professional organizations:
